Recap: Midland Classical Academy Knights vs. Covenant Christian Cougars
The Midland Classical Academy Knights suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were outmatched by Covenant Christian on the road and fell 66-27. Midland Classical Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-8.
Covenant Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aaron Turner, who scored eight points along with five assists and five steals. Turner hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. AJ Guerra was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Midland Classical Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season.
