Soccer Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

Clearview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 5-1 to the Columbia Raiders. While losing is never fun, Clearview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 495th, while Columbia are ranked 201st).

Clearview's goal came courtesy of Mikey Miller, who's now up to two this season.

Clearview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Columbia, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

Looking ahead, Clearview will head out to challenge Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clearview's defense better be ready for this one: Crestview have averaged an impressive 5.2 goals per game this season. As for Columbia, they will welcome Jackson-Milton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
