Tait Reynolds Goes Supernova in Queen Creek Victory

Starting off the list is Queen Creek's Tait Reynolds, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Reynolds rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 71 yards.

Reynolds is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Red Mountain on Friday. When Reynolds last faced the Mountain Lions back in October of 2023, he rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt.

Simon Lopez was instrumental in extending Red Mountain's winning streak to seven on Friday. Lopez was unstoppable, rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 235 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

Red Mountain pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Lopez and Red Mountain will venture away from home to square off against Queen Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
