Preview: El Dorado Wildcats vs. Lake Hamilton Wolves
The El Dorado Wildcats will be playing at home against the Lake Hamilton Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
El Dorado suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Lakeside by a score of 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss El Dorado has suffered against Lakeside since January 29, 2019.
Meanwhile, Lake Hamilton was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 42-41 to Benton. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Lake Hamilton came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Benton is ranked 90th).
El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Lake Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
El Dorado was able to grind out a solid win over Lake Hamilton when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 63-56. Does El Dorado have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lake Hamilton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
