Volleyball Game Preview: Kenton Ridge Cougars vs. Bishop Fenwick Falcons

Kenton Ridge hasn't had much luck against Bishop Fenwick recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cougars will challenge the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kenton Ridge comes in on seven and Bishop Fenwick on six.

Kenton Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Taylor.

Kenton Ridge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Bethel typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Bishop Fenwick proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Bees with a sharp 3-0 win.

Bishop Fenwick walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-14.

Bishop Fenwick's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Kenton Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 21-4.

Kenton Ridge couldn't quite get it done against Bishop Fenwick in their previous matchup back in August of 2020 as they fell 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
