After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Creekside was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Clay Blue Devils. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won five in a row.

Carly Dall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

The Stallions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.85 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Clay, they will be playing at home against Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
