After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Creekside was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Clay Blue Devils. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won five in a row.

Carly Dall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Presley Brinkley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Emma Campbell was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Creekside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clay only posted an OBP of .389.

Creekside's record now sits at 12-7. As for Clay, their record is now an identical 12-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Creekside will host Providence School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Stallions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.85 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Clay, they will be playing at home against Bradford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
