Baseball Recap: Olmsted Falls Comes Up Short

Olmsted Falls managed to slip by Padua Franciscan the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 14-4 to the Bruins on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bulldogs have suffered since April 28th.

Nate Hrabnicky was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Luke Perkins, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Olmsted Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Padua Franciscan, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olmsted Falls will host Brookside at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Padua Franciscan, they will welcome Chaney at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
