Softball Recap: First Colonial Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, First Colonial couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 6-3 to the Kellam Knights on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-0 loss last Thursday.

First Colonial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cori Evans, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

First Colonial's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Kellam, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-1.

As of now, neither First Colonial nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
