Piute won the last time they faced Water Canyon and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Thunderbirds came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 21-25, 26-24.

Piute's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Water Canyon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Piute and Escalante will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Water Canyon, they will square off against Whitehorse at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
