Basketball Recap: Fort Kent Comes Up Short

Fort Kent was the 84-72 winner over Fort Fairfield when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fort Kent Warriors received a blow on Friday as they fell 58-44 to the Fort Fairfield Tigers. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Fort Kent now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Fort Fairfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Fort Kent will square off against Wisdom at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fort Kent is facing Wisdom at the right time seeing as Wisdom is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Fort Fairfield, they will challenge Houlton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fort Fairfield knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Houlton likes a good challenge.
