Baseball Recap: Big Sandy Comes Up Short

Big Sandy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to the Hawkins Hawks. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Hawks since on Tuesday.

Big Sandy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hawkins, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hawkins beat Big Sandy by a score of 15-0 later that day.
