Soccer Recap: Mt. Carmel Takes a Loss

Mt. Carmel lost against El Camino back in November of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mt. Carmel Sundevils fell just short of the El Camino Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Mt. Carmel's goal came courtesy of Juan Renteria-Sepulveda, which was the first he's scored this season.

Mt. Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for El Camino, the win got them back to even at 1-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Carmel will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Mission Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mt. Carmel's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for El Camino, they will challenge Fallbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
