Softball Recap: West Perry Takes a Loss

West Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 19-2 to the Waynesboro Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 back in April.

West Perry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebekah Gustafson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Gustafson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

West Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Waynesboro, their win bumped their record up to 6-15.

As of now, neither West Perry nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
