Gig Harbor is a perfect 3-0 against Silas since March of 2025 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tides will look to defend their home field against the Rams at 6:00 p.m. Gig Harbor is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
Gig Harbor took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Timberline, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Tides skirted past the Blazers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tides have posted since March 27th.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Silas). They blew past Auburn 23-1 on Friday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by ten runs or more this season.
Camryn Conklin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Silas got a massive performance out of Natalie Medalia, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, five runs, and four RBI. With that strong performance, Medalia is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Naeana Bailey, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with six RBI and two runs.
Silas was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Gig Harbor's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Silas, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
Everything went Gig Harbor's way against Silas in their previous matchup back in March, as Gig Harbor made off with a 22-8 win. Will the Tides repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
