Soccer Game Preview: Manning vs. Marion

For the second straight game, Manning will face off against Marion. The Monarchs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Swamp Foxes at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Manning's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Marion who was credited with the win on Tuesday. The Swamp Foxes got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Manning's two.

Manning's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Marion, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.
