Volleyball Recap: Pierre T.F. Riggs' Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Pierre T.F. Riggs had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Lennox Orioles by a score of 3-1 on Saturday.

While Pierre T.F. Riggs might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lennox scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Pierre T.F. Riggs' offense was headlined by Alyssa Loe and Ally Keyes, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Molly Olson and her 17 assists. Keyes was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Pierre T.F. Riggs' win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Lennox, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Pierre T.F. Riggs will square off against Harrisburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lennox, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Garretson on the 13th.
