Football Recap: Mother Mcauley Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Mother McAuley had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the De La Salle Meteors 53-0.

De La Salle is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Mother McAuley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 25-16 loss against Saint Ignatius College Prep on the 27th. As for De La Salle, they have also already played their next game, a 40-19 defeat against Oak Lawn on the 28th.
