Football Recap: Berkeley Prep Buccaneers vs. Alonso Ravens
On Friday, the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers got the win against the Alonso Ravens by a conclusive 42-21. With that victory, the Buccaneers brought their scoring average up to 27 points per game.
Berkeley Prep had a senior duo take command as Dallas Golden gained 144 total yards and three touchdowns and Joseph Troupe rushed for 148 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing yards Troupe has posted since back in November of 2023. Cooper Hayes was another key player, throwing for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
Berkeley Prep was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 324 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alonso only rushed for 202.

Although Alonso took the loss, they still got scores from Josh Andrews, Joseph Glennon, and Ben Cole.
The win got Berkeley Prep back to even at 4-4. As for Alonso, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
