Spearman had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 32-point drubbing they dealt Sunray on Saturday. The Spearman Lynx breezed by the Sunray Bobcats to the tune of 40-8. The Lynx have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 32 points or more this season.

Spearman's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points per game. As for Sunray, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
