Baseball Recap: Gross Catholic Takes Down Ranked Elkhorn North

Gross Catholic faced Elkhorn North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Cougars came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 6-2. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kayo Rempe tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits.

On the hitting side, Robbie Brennan was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

Gross Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Elkhorn North, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.

As of now, neither Gross Catholic nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
