Football Recap: Montwood Rams vs. Frenship Tigers

Montwood and Frenship squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Montwood had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Frenship Tigers on the road and fell 77-21. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Tigers are ranked 49th).

Frenship was led to victory by Holden Phillips and Mateo Roberson. Phillips threw for 164 yards and four touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes, while Roberson rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.
