Harbor Creek waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the General McLane Lancers with a sharp 13-3 win. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by exactly ten runs.

Talon King was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kayla Bresee, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Cipalla, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Harbor Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Harbor Creek's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for General McLane, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-1 record this season.
