Softball Recap: Morton Takes a Loss

Morton fell victim to Dunlap and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Eagles. The Potters have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Morton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Dunlap, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Morton will host Farmington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Farmers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Potters surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dunlap, they will face off against Ottawa at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
