After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Ben Davis brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders 14-2 on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Giants as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Derek Douglas made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Douglas was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
