Soccer Recap: Rockwall-Heath Takes a Loss

Rockwall-Heath came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Forney Jackrabbits. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Jackrabbits are ranked tenth).

Rockwall-Heath's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Forney, the victory was the 16th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwall-Heath will take on Royse City at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockwall-Heath's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Forney, they will be playing at home against Longview at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Forney is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
