Softball Game Preview: Attica Red Ramblers vs. South Vermillion Wildcats

For the second straight game, Attica will face off against South Vermillion. The Red Ramblers will take on the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Attica has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Attica is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against South Vermillion on Monday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 17-2.

Attica saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Nichols, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Attica has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for South Vermillion, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
