Soccer Recap: Marshfield Comes Up Short

Marshfield was the 2-0 winner over Whitman-Hanson Regional when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Marshfield came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Whitman-Hanson Regional are ranked 268th).

Marshfield has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4-2 record this season. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 2-10.
