Softball Recap: Leuzinger Olympians vs. Centennial Apaches
Leuzinger stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past the Centennial Apaches 14-2. Winning may never get old, but Leuzinger sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Michelle Sanchez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Sanchez was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Emily Gamboa was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Alfaro, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a double.
