Football Recap: Prattville Gets the Win + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Vestavia Hills, Prattville was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 24-21 win over the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 49-7 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Hewitt-Trussville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore De'Narrius Crawford made 17 total tackles (5.0 for loss). Jack Floyd also set a new season-high mark in rushing yards with 109. Dylan Cope also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.

Prattville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hewitt-Trussville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2.
