Volleyball Recap: Decatur Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Decatur suffered their biggest defeat since September 17th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the White River Hornets. The Golden Gators have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

White River was led to victory by Ema Froemke and Taylor Arnold. Froemke had 15 digs and two aces, while Arnold had six digs and two aces. Arnold has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played. Emery Stevenson also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Decatur's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for White River, they pushed their record up to 18-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Decatur didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Auburn Mountainview on the 23rd. As for White River, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Enumclaw on the 23rd.
