Hunter Bivin, Colin McGovern make commitments during annual Junior Day visits.

The University of Notre Dame's Junior Day on Saturday produced immediate dividends with the commitment of two outstanding offensive tackles in the Class of 2013, according to the South Bend Tribune.

Both players admitted they had not expected to commit on Saturday.

First to say yes to the Fighting Irish was Hunter Bivin (6-7, 288) from Apollo (Owensboro, Ky.). He also has offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Bivin told the Tribune, "It was a no-brainer."

Later, Colin McGovern (6-7, 280) from Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, Ill.) also was convinced enough to pass on offers from Alabama, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State and Tennessee.

McGovern commented, "As the day went on, my love for Notre Dame got stronger."

The Fighting Irish now have five commitments from the Class of 2013.
