Softball Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

Triton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 20-3 to the Manchester Squires. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Squires this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-0 back in April.

Triton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Manchester, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Looking ahead, Triton will host Winamac at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manchester, they will head out to face off against Southwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Squires' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
