Soccer Game Preview: Chaparral vs. Legend

Chaparral is 2-7 against Legend since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wolverines will look to defend their home pitch against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Chaparral is headed into Friday's game following a draw, the team's first since March 27. They and ThunderRidge finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Chaparral's goal came courtesy of Isabelle Schroder, who's now up to 13 this season.

Meanwhile, Legend's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rock Canyon. Legend have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chaparral's draw makes their record 7-5-2 this season. As for Legend, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5-3.

Chaparral couldn't quite get it done against Legend in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
