Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to the Lubbock Christian Eagles at home by a 55-36 margin on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Trinity Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-19 two weeks ago.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 26-5. As for Lubbock Christian, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 23-6.

Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lubbock Christian, they will take on Panhandle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Lubbock Christian has won six straight at home, while Panhandle won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
