Basketball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short

Dora lost against Eunice back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dora Coyotes lost to the Eunice Cardinals on the road by a 54-35 margin. The Coyotes were down 44-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Dora has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Eunice, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dora will face off against Fort Sumner/House at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eunice, they will take on Loving at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
