Indian Hill and Taylor are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Braves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Indian Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
Indian Hill's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Finneytown 25-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Braves considering their one-run performance the game before.

Noah Coffman made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Devlan Daniel was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. He also got three hits, which is notable because Indian Hill is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 4-5 otherwise. Ashton Graham was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Indian Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, Taylor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Reading.
Taylor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Paff, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
Indian Hill's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Taylor, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Taylor's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Indian Hill has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .477. It's a different story for Taylor, though, as they've only averaged .324. Will they be able to contain Indian Hill's hitters?
Everything went Indian Hill's way against Taylor in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Indian Hill made off with a 16-3 win. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
