Football Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

Cordova lost against White Station back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves took a 20-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for White Station, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Cordova and White Station could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Wolves will take on Houston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (200 vs. 27). Meanwhile, White Station (ranked 162nd) will meet Memphis University School (ranked 37th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
