Basketball Recap: Metro Tech Comes Up Short

Metro Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 70-36 loss at the hands of the Northwest Christian Crusaders. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 52-24 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Metro Tech lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Yahir Monroy, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Campos, who had four points in addition to seven assists and five boards.

Metro Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Northwest Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Metro Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 56-33 loss against Tempe Prep on the 3rd. As for Northwest Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-34 defeat against Arizona Lutheran Academy on the 3rd.
