Baseball Game Preview: Roxborough Wolves vs. Constitution Generals

The Roxborough Wolves will challenge the Constitution Generals at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Roxborough came up short against Tacony Academy Charter on Wednesday, falling 15-5. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Constitution lost 21-11 to West Philadelphia on Thursday. The loss was the Generals' first of the season.

Teo Mayorga and Jackson Kardon stepped up to the plate in a big way. Mayorga scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2, while Kardon scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Mayorga has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Owen Davis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Constitution fell to 3-1. As for Roxborough, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
