Meanwhile, Belfry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to Pike County Central.
Hazard's win bumped their record up to 19-3. As for Belfry, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.
