Sterling Heights Stevenson's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jake Leonard, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. John Lonsway was another, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Sterling Heights Stevenson's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Stoney Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
