Sylvan-Lucas won the last time they faced Natoma and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Sylvan-Lucas easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-18.

Lauren Brokes paced Sylvan-Lucas' offense, picking up five kills. Brokes got some help from Lily Pancost and her six assists. Josie Svaty controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sylvan-Lucas' victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Natoma, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Sylvan-Lucas has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Thomas More Prep-Marian on the 13th. As for Natoma, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Bennington on the 13th.
