Baseball Recap: Millbury Comes Up Short

The Millbury Woolies didn't have quite enough to beat the Abington Green Wave on Thursday and fell 6-5. That's two games in a row now that the Woolies have lost by just one run.

Millbury now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Abington, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Millbury will square off against Oxford at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Woolies' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Abington, they will face off against Rockland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
