West Linn got themselves on the board against Oregon City on Friday, but Oregon City never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Pioneers. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for West Linn, bringing their record up to 10-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Oregon City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Linn will face off against rival Lake Oswego at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Lions' favor as the squad sits on 17 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Lakers have been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Oregon City is set to square off against their familiar foe Tualatin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Pioneers 3.8, the Timberwolves 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
