Volleyball Recap: Osseo-Fairchild Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Osseo-Fairchild can now relate to. They came up short against the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Thunder's loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Melrose-Mindoro scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-20.

Osseo-Fairchild's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Melrose-Mindoro, they pushed their record up to 11-16 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Osseo-Fairchild does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Melrose-Mindoro, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Blair-Taylor on the 23rd.
