Soccer Recap: Bonita Springs Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Bonita Springs was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Estero Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Bullsharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 409th, while the Wildcats are ranked 112th).

Bonita Springs has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Estero, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Bonita Springs wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Cypress Lake on the 10th. As for Estero, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Barron Collier on the 12th.
