Football Game Preview: Lincoln Railsplitters vs. Erasmus Hall Dutchmen

Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Erasmus Hall recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Railsplitters will venture away from home to square off against the Dutchmen at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Saturday, Lincoln got the win against Port Richmond by a conclusive 34-14. Given the Railsplitters' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Raiders are ranked 225th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Erasmus Hall got themselves on the board against Wagner on Thursday, but Wagner never followed suit. They breezed past the Falcons to the tune of 51-0. The victory continues a trend for the Dutchmen in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Lincoln now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Erasmus Hall, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Lincoln might still be hurting after the 28-7 loss they got from Erasmus Hall in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Railsplitters avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
