Volleyball Recap: John Carroll Catholic Falls Despite Big Games from Meghan Childs and Addie Parks + How To Watch

John Carroll Catholic and Gateway squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but John Carroll Catholic had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Panthers. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Gateway scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 25-19.

Addie Parks and Meghan Childs certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Parks had 15 digs and one assist, while Childs had five digs.

John Carroll Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Gateway, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-5.

John Carroll Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gateway, they will square off against Gainesville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
