Volleyball Recap: Olympia Beats Evans for Their Third Straight Victory

Olympia had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Evans Trojans. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Olympia was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14.

Jacob Lee was the offensive standout of the game as he had 12 digs. That's the most digs he has posted over his last nine contests.

Olympia was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are a perfect 4-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Olympia pushed their record up to 9-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Evans, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Olympia and Evans will both be playing Edgewater the next time they take the court. The Trojans will head out to face the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Titans will head out to face them on Saturday.
