Martins Ferry will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Monroe Central, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Everything went Martins Ferry's way against Monroe Central on Saturday as Martins Ferry made off with a 54-34 victory. The Purple Riders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Indian Creek hadn't done well against Bellaire recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Indian Creek secured a 48-42 W over Bellaire. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redskins.
